Google Expands Retail and Service Centers for Pixel Devices in India

At its ninth Made by Google event, Google unveiled its latest range of devices for the Indian market. The new lineup includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel Buds Pro 2, and Pixel Watch 3.

To enhance its after-sales service and retail footprint in India, Google is expanding its operations significantly:

Walk-in Service Centers

Google is strengthening its after-sales service network in India by launching new Walk-in Service Centers. Two centers will open on August 15, 2024, in Delhi and Bengaluru, with a third location planned for Mumbai soon after.

These centers will offer comprehensive support for Pixel phones, Pixel Watches, Pixel Buds, Fitbit devices, and Nest products, regardless of where they were purchased or their warranty status. Services such as device repairs, replacements, and general inquiries will be provided, with many repairs being completed on the same day. This service expansion is in collaboration with Flipkart’s service arm, F1 Info Solutions and Services Private Limited, which operates over 100 multi-brand service centers across India.

Retail Expansion

Starting August 14, 2024, Google’s Pixel products will be available at over 150 Croma and Reliance Retail stores across 15 cities in India. The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL will be the first devices to hit the shelves, with availability beginning on August 22, 2024.

This expansion marks a significant step in making Google’s latest technology more accessible to consumers across India, offering them easier access to both purchasing and servicing their devices.
